We are entering the prime months for locally grown food in Arkansas. Which means I am eager to visit all my favorite farms!
This week I’m with my dear friends Kim Van Scoy and David Cooper at their sustainable market farm, Sheepy Hollow Farm, in Clarksville.
At Sheepy Hollow Farm, you will find an abundance of naturally grown produce, including tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, peppers, okra, onions, garlic, potatoes, greens, and much more. In addition to vegetables, they also have sheep, cattle, chickens, ducks, and bees, creating a harmonious ecosystem on the farm.
Kim and David have not only mastered the art of farming but have also shared their knowledge and expertise with many aspiring farmers and gardeners, myself included. Their deep connection to the land is evident in the care, understanding, and hard work they put into nurturing their plants and animals.
Sheepy Hollow Farm sells their exceptional farm products through the Foothills Market. To place an order, simply visit their website and make your selection before 5pm on Wednesday. You can then pick up your order on Thursdays between 4:30-5:30 PM in downtown Clarksville. For more information about the ordering process please visit the following the Foothills Market Website.
