This week I visited Marche Farm, a beautiful farm located just outside of Little Rock. Marine and Hayden, the passionate and hard working individuals behind this endeavor, have truly created something special.
Marche Farm goes beyond being a garden; it represents a vision of a better way for people to connect with farming. Marine and Hayden have a deep love and appreciation for the natural world and are dedicated to fostering stronger relationships with the land, the history of the area, and the people who inhabit it.
Despite being only in their second year, Marche Farm has already experienced significant growth, both in terms of their garden and their impact on the community. It is truly inspiring to witness their progress and the positive influence they have had on those around them.
One of the standout features of Marche Farm is their beautiful self-serve flower stand, cleverly constructed from a tiny house. This climate-controlled stand was designed to offer a welcoming and inclusive space for visitors to buy flowers and learn about the farm. Not only does it offer a stunning array of fresh flowers, which are handpicked daily, but it also houses books, community notices, and information about the history of the Marche community. It embodies the warmth and friendliness that Marine and Hayden exude.
The variety of flowers grown at Marche Farm is impressive. From sunflowers to statice, snapdragons to yarrow, zinnias to gomphrena, strawflower to celosia, and many others, their bouquets are a sight to behold. The care and expertise that Marine and Hayden put into cultivating these flowers is evident in the vibrant colors and delicate blooms that grace their arrangements.
I highly recommend paying them a visit and immersing yourself in the beauty and positivity that they have cultivated.
